About

Our Story

Memory Bright was built to make meaningful engagement easier for families and care teams—one moment at a time.

Charlie, the inspiration behind Memory Bright

It Started with Charlie

Memory Bright began with John's dad, Charlie, and a simple realization: familiar photos and family voices can bring comfort and connection—even as memory fades.

Tom's work with ThinkLocker and perceptual learning reinforced the idea that repeated, meaningful cues can make recognition easier and engagement feel natural. We combined those insights into a caregiver-friendly platform built around reminiscence-based Memory Sessions.

Our Mission

Memory loss can make everyday connection harder. We believe caregivers deserve tools that are simple, supportive, and effective—without adding more work to an already demanding role.

Memory Bright helps turn familiar photos and voices into a repeatable routine. Caregivers can start quickly with Feature Albums or build Life Albums with personal content, then choose the Memory Activity that fits the moment: Game, Story, Explore, or Auto Play.

What Guides Our Work

Keep it simple

Caregiving is time-consuming. The tool should reduce effort, not add to it.

Stay human

We design for dignity, comfort, and connection—not clinical complexity.

Be evidence-informed

Reminiscence research helps guide the features and routines we support.

Work in real life

Sessions should fit real visit windows, shifts, and family schedules.
