Charlie's Story
The story behind why Memory Bright exists.

Charlie
My dad, Charlie, was a kind, thoughtful Greek man who loved a good story and never tired of telling them.
When Alzheimer's began to affect his memory, it was like pieces of him started to slip away—but not all at once. There were still flashes of recognition, laughter, and connection and we cherished those moments.
My brother built a simple website where we could upload pictures and videos for Dad and Mom to share. We enjoyed viewing the website together and Dad would smile when he saw familiar faces or heard someone's voice. Sometimes he'd even tell us a story we hadn't heard in years.

Dad passed, but I wondered if there was a better way for families to bring their memories to life? What if technology could help preserve not just images, but relationships, and give us a way to be together.
Memory Bright is built on what helped my dad: familiar voices, meaningful pictures, and gentle ways to stay connected. It's for anyone who wants to hold on to what matters most—for a loved one, or for themselves.
